Biography

A signature member of OPA, AIS, ASMA, and LPAPA, Greg LaRock has won ­numerous awards for his painting ­excellence including Best of Show at: Plein Air Easton, Florida’s Forgotten Coast, Los Gatos Plein Air and Sonoma Plein Air. He’s also be awarded first place at Door County Invitational and Artist Choice at Maui Plein Air Invitational. He was also awarded the Callaway ­Gardens Plein Air Purchase Prize in Georgia. Greg has been juried into five Oil Painters of America national shows, ­invited 12 times to LPAPA’s annual Plein Air Invitational and a 13 year exhibitor at the Festival of Arts in Laguna. He has been featured in Plein Air Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine and included in a Jack Richeson Fine Art Series book “Plein Air New ­Mexico.” A sought-after ­instructor for workshops, he ­resides with his wife in Orange, California.
