Paul Kaplan grew up being influenced by the diversity of experiences and people in southern California. His education and training helped him develop a style that infused conceptual art with traditional methods but also incorporated historical knowledge and critical socially relevant issues. Currently, Paul Kaplan creates out of La Jolla, California where he works primarily with acrylic, ink and aerosol spray paint. His works explore a multitude of human and societal and emotions while making commentary on our modern world.
