Biography

Born in Paris, I studied at l’École des Beaux-Arts where I learned sketching and oil painting, then pursued everywhere along my different locations.
My versatility is due to my fearlessness in exploring new methods and mediums. My various experience includes Printmaking, Carving, bronzing along among other techniques.
Inspired by the Moderns Picasso, Cezanne, Rodin, and Archipenko, I am attracted to cubism and abstraction.

“When the roar of the day has settled, it remains two or three instants that define it: joy or anger, achievement or frustration, motions, impressions, and emotions. When you extend your perspective in time, you still cannot define life but in terms of moments or feelings. That is what I try to convey in my art: moods, flashes, sentiments, colors, instants, movement, scents, all through the screen of my experience, the techniques that I have learned, and the influence of my discoveries. Watercolor, or Painting, or Printmaking, or Sculpture in various media, is the vehicle of communication that I choose to fit my purpose, because of its particularities and its unique abilities to render the distinctive sensation that I want to suggest, or simply because I feel like using it at this particular moment. For me, the medium is only a technique that will help me express my creativity. It is subservient to Art.“
