Biography

I studied art in college and have several art related degrees. But I never learned about painting until I picked up a brush, put out paint like it was being given away, painted with absolutely no care as to whether the piece succeeded or not, and painted for myself.
If was paint, it was good. If was light by means of paint, it was really good.
I try to infuse my work with light, temperature and mood. Color is more indicative of my mood, or the mood of the place I am painting.
If my work strikes a chord in a viewer, so much the better.
I hope my work strikes a chord with you. But I will still paint for myself.
