Biography

I am a self taught artist inspired by the natural world. The intricacies and patterns, in the plant and animal worlds have energized my imagination. The subtle vibrant hues have instilled a desire for me to create a palate of interactive color, shapes and layered textures.
I trained in dermatology at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, MD along with having my own private for over 30 years. I have been a teaching physician at Johns Hopkins for the same period. I am an inventor and have multiple medical patents. I like to travel the world and bring into my art a range of cultural insights that link East and West, both scientifically and artistically.
