I create my art to inspire others to see color in every aspect of life & to show the beauty of life itself. This is why I choose nature as my main genre; it portrays an elegant, innocent light that gives a glimmer of hope in such a dark world.
To create these pieces, I use an impressionistic process, with solely palette knife & oil paint. I love to give my paintings texture so they feel more “touchable” in a way, creating almost a second layer to examine on its own. When people see my work, I want them to walk away feeling just a little bit happier than they were moments before; to begin seeing more color & light in other aspects of their life that they might not have considered before.
I began painting a little over 3 years ago; decided one day to just pick up a new hobby. Little did I know this "hobby" would become my biggest passion and later, career. I am completely self-taught at this point, but hope to one day take classes to grow in my ability.
